CA is registered after Standard 10
As per the changes made after October 2006, the first exam of Chartered Accountancy for CPT can be registered after passing 10th Standard and this CPT exam can be given after appearing for Standard 12 (any stream) examination. Every year the CPT exam will be taken 4 times. It is a primary foundation exam. There are 4 question papers in that. After CPT, CA’s second exam PCC and after that third final exam CA Final can be given as per the rules. That means, now preparation for CA can be started after passing 10th standard.
